An Awesome Design Wins 1st Place in the 2022 Mars Society Poster Contest

The Mars Society is very pleased to announce that Antonella Berti Benza has won first place in the 2022 Mars Society Poster Contest! A resident of Córdoba, Argentina, Ms. Benza works in art direction and graphic design and illustration at Nellabe Art.

Graphic artists who participated in this year’s design competition were asked to submit a poster using the theme “Searching for Life with Heavy Lift” as part of its overall composition.

Current heavy lift spaceflight options include NASA’s SLS and SpaceX’s Starship, both capable of carrying large payloads into orbit, to the Moon and on to Mars. This capacity opens the door to a wide range of robotic and human exploratory missions to the red planet, including an expanded search for life on Mars.

Ms. Benza’s winning poster will be proudly displayed on the Mars Society’s web site and various social media platforms as part of our promotional efforts for the 25th Annual International Mars Society Convention October 20-23 at Arizona State University.

Contest organizers would also like to extend their congratulations to the other creative participants in this year’s competition. It was definitely a very talented group of artists and designers joining us in 2022.
