Mars Awaits: Just Two Weeks Until the 2026 Mars Society Convention!

The countdown is on! In just two weeks, the 2026 International Mars Society Convention will bring together some of the world’s leading voices in space exploration for three action-packed days at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, October 22–24.

This year’s convention features an outstanding lineup of scientists, astronauts, engineers, entrepreneurs, and space policy experts exploring the latest developments in Mars science, technology, exploration, and human settlement.

Among the featured speakers are former NASA astronaut Dr. Garrett Reisman; former NASA Chief Scientist Dr. James Green; SETI Institute scientist Dr. Nathalie Cabrol; Curiosity Project Scientist Dr. Ashwin Vasavada; Relativity Space co-founder Tim Ellis; space geopolitics expert Dr. Namrata Goswami; Internet pioneer Dr. Vint Cert; and JPL Chief Mars Engineer Humphrey “Hoppy” Price — along with dozens of other speakers from across the global space community.

And the conversation won’t stop when the daytime sessions end. A few tickets are still available for our special Saturday evening banquet, featuring a keynote address by Dr. Adam Steltzner, one of the key figures behind some of NASA’s most ambitious Mars landing missions.

Whether you’re a space professional, researcher, student, longtime Mars advocate, or simply excited about humanity’s future beyond Earth, this is your chance to be part of the conversation.

Two weeks. Three days. One planet we can’t stop talking about.

There’s still time to join us at USC!
