The 24th Annual International Mars Society Convention

October 14-17, 2021 (A Virtual Event)

The Mars Society was founded more than two decades ago to further the exploration and settlement of the Red Planet.  The International Mars Society Convention presents a unique opportunity for those interested in the planet Mars to come together and discuss the science, technology, social implications, philosophy and a multitude of other aspects of Mars exploration.

Last year, in the face of the COVID epidemic, the Mars Society decided to hold its conference as a virtual event. This proved to be an amazing success, with over 10,000 people attending, and more than 150 papers presented. The conference had an impressive lineup of high-level speakers from all over the world, including SpaceX CEO Elon Musk and NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine.

So the Mars Society is going to do it again this year and plans to make it even better, with great speakers, as well as panels and debates about the hottest issues facing Mars exploration and the future of humanity on the Red Planet!

Online registration for the 2021 International Mars Society Convention is now available (http://bit.ly/2021virtualconvention). Attendance is free of charge, and all are welcome!
