The European Mars Conference (EMC-2025), hosted by the Association Planète Mars (APM), the French chapter of The Mars Society, will take place in Paris on 28-29 November, 2025. This annual event serves as a major forum for collaboration and idea exchange among Europe’s leading Mars advocates, researchers, engineers, and policymakers.

This year’s conference will feature an impressive lineup of speakers and participants from across the continent, including representatives of the European Space Agency (ESA), the Austrian Space Forum (OEWF), and Mars Society chapters from France, Poland, Ukraine, Israel, and other European nations. Together, they will explore the latest developments in Mars exploration, human mission planning, analog research, and international cooperation toward a sustainable future on the Red Planet.
Highlighting the program will be a keynote address by Dr. Robert Zubrin, President and Founder of The Mars Society, titled “The Case for Mars (TBD).” Dr. Zubrin will discuss the growing global movement to make humanity a multi-planetary species and outline new initiatives and collaborative projects being developed across The Mars Society’s worldwide network of chapters.
The two-day conference will include plenary talks, technical sessions, student presentations, and networking opportunities for those passionate about advancing Mars research and exploration.
