Analog research is a vital part of preparing for the human exploration of Mars—and now you can hear directly from the front lines!

Join us for a special episode of Red Planet Live on Tuesday, July 1st at 5:00 pm PT / 8:00 pm ET, featuring four members of Crew 315 from the Mars Desert Research Station (MDRS) in southern Utah. Hosted by Ashton Zeth, this one-hour live podcast will welcome:
- Dave Laude – Commander
- Michael Andrews – Crew Engineer
- Urban Koi – Health & Safety Officer
- Tim Gagnon – Crew Artist
Crew 315 recently completed a two-week analog mission at MDRS, where they conducted field studies on human factors, engineering operations, EVA protocols, and science communication in simulated Martian conditions.
This is your chance to ask questions and learn firsthand what it’s like to “live and work” on Mars. Audience participation is encouraged—but registration is required to submit questions during the live stream.
Register today for our upcoming RPL show, and don’t miss this behind-the-scenes look at Mars mission training!
If you can’t attend live, the full episode will be available afterward on the Mars Society’s YouTube channel, and later on Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, and RSS feed.
Red Planet Live is the Mars Society’s 60-minute semi-monthly podcast featuring leading voices in Mars and space exploration, STEM education, tech innovation, and space policy. Join us and be part of the conversation!
