Beyond Earth Ventures’ Patrick Beatty Joins 2026 Mars Society Convention

Patrick Beatty, Managing Director of Beyond Earth Ventures, will bring an investor’s perspective on the future of space exploration to the 29th Annual International Mars Society Convention, October 22–24, 2026, at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles.

Patrick’s presentation will explore investing in the growing space economy and how investment, innovation, and emerging technologies can help advance long-term human exploration and settlement of the Moon and Mars.

A veteran venture investor, operator, and data science leader, Patrick has worked for many years with Prosus Group, one of the world’s largest technology investment firms, investing and mentoring across industries including machine learning, synthetic biology, and space technology. His experience ranges from Series A through E financing and transactions exceeding $1 billion.

Patrick also brings extensive space-sector experience, from academic research using infrared spectroscopy to study comets to involvement with the XPRIZE and International Space University. He has also mentored space and technology accelerator programs associated with Blue Origin, AWS Space, and Space-H at Starburst.

His broader financial career includes experience with Northern Trust Bank, Moody’s Analytics, Fannie Mae, Bank of America, and other major institutions.
