Mars Society Argentina Organizing 4-Day Pan-American Space Exploration Conference

The Mars Society is pleased to announce that Mars Society Argentina, one of the organization’s international chapters, has organized a four-day bi-lingual (English & Spanish) conference on “The Future of Pan-American Space Exploration,” scheduled for October 28-31, 2024 in Mendoza, Argentina.

The main issues to be discussed during the course of the event will be developing multi-agency space research and cooperation, solar system exploration, Earth sciences, space weather research, and exo-planet characterization through advanced space missions, advanced instrumentation, and modern artificial intelligence and machine learning methods.

Current supporters of the October conference include the Argentinian Space Agency (CONAE), the U.S. Embassy in Buenos Aires, the local government of the Province of Mendoza, and a number of Latin American universities, including the University of Mendoza, the National University of Technology, and the National University of Cuyo.
