- TMS-SD MARS MOVIE NIGHT
- "ROCKETSHIP X-M" (1950)
Astronauts blast off to explore the moon. But because of craft malfunction and some strange fuel calculations, they end up landing on the red planet. On Mars, evidence of a once powerful civilization is found. The scientists determined that an atomic war destroyed most of the Martians (who surprisingly look like humans). Those that survived reverted to a caveman-like existence.
Showtime is Saturday at 7:00pm at Studio 106 in the Art Union Building at 2323 Broadway 92102 -- please RSVP to FILMIST[at]MAC.COM. We'll provide the popcorn -- you can bring drinks or snacks to share.
