The San Diego Air & Space Museum's Aerosummer SUMMER CAMPS 2008 in
Balboa Park presents DESTINATION MARS for Grades 3-4
from 9:00am to Noon.
Come explore Mars with us! Learn the history of our fascination with
the Red Planet, learn how to drive a rover on Mars, search for life,
and build and launch an aquarocket.

TMS-SD members will be on-hand for multimedia presentations: "A
Close Look at Mars" on Monday, and "Invasion from
Earth: The Robotic Exploration of Mars" on Wednesday. We'll
bring our interactive display table and the San Diego Mars Rover and
our Mars Sojourner Rover replicas.

The International Mars Sample Return Conference will
be held at the Bibliotheque Nationale de France auditorium in Paris,
France. An International Conference co-hosted by ESA and CNES in
cooperation with NASA and the International Mars Exploration Working
Group (IMEWG).

meeting starting at 3:00pm to 5:00pm at the Serra Mesa-Kearney Mesa
Branch Library.

TMS-SD members, along with the San Diego Mars Rovers, will provide a
2-hour Mars Exploration lecture and outreach at the
Santa Sophia Academy in Spring Valley beginning at 8:30am.
