MDRS Field Geology Primer by Jean Lagarde — last modified 2007-02-10 14:05
In Situ Field Methodology Guidelines for MDRS: During a Mars mission astronauts will be communicating their research and observations to the scientists back on earth. The MDRS RST is currently playing that role of the backroom scientists on earth. The main goal of this experiment is to discover the best approach to data collection, storage, and analysis from both the Mars crews and the RST by implementing different strategies and methodologies. The In Situ Field Geology Methodology Guideline is just the first step into this experiment.
MDRS Field Biology Primer by Jean Lagarde — last modified 2007-02-10 14:06
Field biology primer created in the context of sampling for microbial richness.
A FIELD METHODOLOGY APPROACH BETWEEN AN EARTH-BASED REMOTE by Jean Lagarde — last modified 2007-02-10 14:07
Astronauts will be communicating their research and observations to scientists back on earth. Remote Science Teams (RST) are currently filling the role of the backroom scientists on earth in support of science teams at planetary analog sites worldwide. The main goal of our project is to discover the best approach to field operations, data collection, storage, collaboration and analysis from both the planetary field crews and the RSTs.
