Tamarack Robert Czarnik

Location: Wyoming
Medical Director for the Mars Desert Research Station (MDRS). Initially trained as a family practitioner at Ohio State University, Tam Czarnik traveled the world between locum tenens (temporary) physician assignments before returning to the United States to attend Wright State University's Aerospace Medicine Program. There he learned not only about the physiological effects of high-altitude travel upon the human body, but also the importance of continuing to research the probable impact of differing environments on potential outer-space explorers.
