Susan Holden Martin is Editor-in-Chief of The Mars Quarterly, a new publication of The Mars Society launched in December 2008, and as such can be reached at tmq-editor@marssociety.org. Ms. Martin has a B.A. in American Studies (magna cum laude, 2000) and a MBA in Human Resources Management (2007) from Franklin Pierce University. She will be a second year law student at the Massachusetts School of Law at Andover in the fall of 2009. Her enthusiasm for space science comes from several family scientists, including her great-uncle Doyle Northrup, PhD (MIT) (Presidential Medal of Freedom; http://tinyurl.com/nl52qf) and her uncle Robert Leonard (former Project Manager, Lockheed Martin/Hubble Space Telescope). Ms. Martin has over 20 years experience in the legal field, and has served in various leadership roles in several state and national organizations. Her areas of expertise are in business development, long-range planning, strategy, and volunteer recruitment and retention.
