Payment Options

Options to pay for membership, donations or other items (currently only covers PayPal recurring transactions).

PayPal recurring payments

We allow you to set up automated recurring payments through PayPal for donations or membership renewals (or both at the same time). The option will be offered automatically if your transaction only contains donation and membership renewal items. If the transaction includes a membership renewal, then the payment period will be fixed to the duration of the membership (one or three years), otherwise, you will be able to pick the payment period in months. You will be asked to set for how long to repeat payments in years, or you can leave is as "for ever", in which case payents will stop once you manually cancel through PayPal. Using this feature does require you to open a PayPal account; if you do not already have one, PayPal will offer you to create one on the spot. You can pay for the recurring payments using either a credit card, eCheck, or direct debit from a bank account.

 

You can cancel a recurring payment at any time (so that PayPal makes no more automated payments), by following these instructions:

  1. Log in to your PayPal account.
  2. Click History at the top of the page.
  3. Select Subscriptions from the Show menu.
  4. Check the From box and change the date back to a sufficient number of years.
  5. Click Search.
  6. Click Details to view the details of a specific Subscription Creation.
  7. Click Cancel Subscription.
  8. Click Cancel Subscription again.
