Susan Holden Martin is a member of The Mars Society and provides editorial and administrative support. She is a former Director of The Mars Foundation, and currently serves as Operations Officer. Ms. Martin has a B.A. in American Studies (magna cum laude, 2000) and a MBA in Human Resources Management (2007) from Franklin Pierce University, and is currently attending the Massachusetts School of Law at Andover. Her enthusiasm for space science comes from several family scientists, including Doyle Northrup, PhD (MIT) and Robert Leonard (Lockheed Martin/Hubble Space Telescope). Ms. Martin has over 20 years experience in the legal field, and has served in various leadership roles in several state and national organizations. Her expertise is in the areas of long-range planning, strategy, and volunteer recruitment and retention.
