The Remote Science Team (RST), created in August 2003, is a group of scientists working together to advance the scientific research being done at the Mars Desert Research Station (MDRS) in Utah. All remote science team members have served as crewmembers at either MDRS or Flashline Station (FMARS) in the Canadian Arctic. The RST encompasses three broadly defined scientific discplines -- biology, geology and psychology/human factors-- with team members having expertise in these and other more specific disciplines. For further information contact Shannon Rupert Robles, RST Coordinator.
