Akos Kereszturi Reporting

EVA #1 Report
April 14, 2008
Akos Kereszturi

Time: 16:55
Crew Members: Boros-Olah, Kereszturi

Site Location: Phobos Peak
Transit Mode: ATV, foot

Objectives: to observe the hill, the slope and the top, determine their composition and possible origin.
And also to record the EVA's steps, in regards to the distance, travel mode and scientific analysis, to plan a similar hypotetical EVA on Martian terrain.

Lessons Learned:
- at the foot of the hill conglomeratum with gounded gravel
- at the top of the hill conglomeratum with mixed sized gravel and
cross-bedding, probable sign of ancient seaside or river delta
- at the top of the hill lichen near the peak, but only at the northern shady
side and no lichen at the sunlit southern side
