Journalist's Report
April 7, 2008
Guerric de Crombrugghe

Welcome to the real world!
That is MDRS's automated journalist report.

00:20 AM : Star Wars III ends with the rise of Lord Vader.

04:00 AM : DRING DRING DRING DRING DRING DRING DRING DRING DRING DRING
DRING DRING
Why is that *** alarm on? Ho yes, Jupiter Storm!
I wake up in a hurry, go to my computer. I'm very excited : what are
the charts going to look like? I expect something spectacular, with
strange shapes that I'll be able to interpret as L-bursts and S-bursts
(that sounds very serious but it's actually very easy once you trained
a little bit).
Nothing. Little variations in the signal, but nothing worth an insane
alarm at 4 AM. Ok, it doesn't matter, let's go to bed.

09:00 AM : breakfast. Quick checking of the charts, we never know.
There was a beautifull L-burst just before Jupiter set (see photos of
the day). Our Chief Engineer, Violette, is going back to Earth with
Rorry, the photographer. We had some great time with them, let's hope
they'll have a safe journey back.

10:00 AM : Jan teaches us all the secrets of the lab. We prepared some
samples, and culture plates.

01:30 PM : lunch time. The canned Princess' spaghetti is really
disgusting. Elnaz didn't like Star Wars. Can you believe that?

02:30 PM : dodo, as we say in French. A little rest is welcome for
everyone.

03:45 PM : EVA. Some sample collection on the sites we chose
yesterday. It's really windy. I really like those ATV's.

05:00 PM : Jan is talking about the Omega Point, and the science of
immortality. Don't worry, we will all come back once the information of
all the universe will start over after is has collapsed into one single big black hole.
Nice!

That was MDRS' automated journalist report.
Good night, and in case I don't see ya, good morning, good afternoon,
and good evening!
