Commander's Check-In

Crew Physical Status:
Not bad, only a bit tired in the afternoon.


Time Departed/Returned from EVA:
EVA 10 - 11:15am to 1pm
EVA 11 - 2:50pm to 4:20pm


Brief Narrative of Field Mission Results:
EVA 10 - Focus on navigation, visit Skyline Rim.
EVA 11 - Halophile sample collection.


EVA Data/Interpretations:
EVA 10 - Navigation not perfect without a GPS location plotted on map;
spectacular photo by professional to Skyline Rim; collected some
interesting samples.
EVA 11 - Collected samples but hard to find suitable sites.


Hab Maintenance:
Fixing potable water pump. Oil changes.


Report Transmission Schedule:
Commander's, journalist's, science and engineering reports; some may
come late.


Plans for Tomorrow:
Full time photography by Zuma Press with more EVAs to more spectacular
Martian places, RSL halophile sample collection, weather station
repair, radio telescope monitoring.


Inventory:
Some unexpected supply from our photographer.
