Commander's Check-In
Boris Yim Reporting


Crew Physical Status:
Refreshed with more sleep. A bit hot and tired after EVA.


Time Departed/Returned from EVA:
EVA 1 - 3pm to 3:45pm
EVA 2 - 3:15pm to 5:30pm


Brief Narrative of Field Mission Results:
4 crew members practiced EVA. 2 used ATV for longer distance to
determine the approximate range of the radio in EVA 2.


EVA Data/Interpretations:
EVA 1: Some material was obtained and put back at the engineering area.
EVA 2: A map of radio quality is being compiled.


Hab Maintenance:
The heater on the first floor and the water heater was fixed last
night. Continued troubleshooting of the heater on the second floor. The
string to close the observatory roof was replaced. A pole was moved to
some exposed coaxial wire near the hab for warning. Backup engines were
tested operational.


Report Transmission Schedule:
We are working on the commander's, engineering, HSO, 2 EVAs, 2 science
and journalist reports.


Plans for Tomorrow:
Continue EVA and start other projects and Hab door repair.


Inventory:
Don brought us a string for the observatory and Elnaz's delayed
luggage.


Support Requested:
Any expert help with the upper floor heater would be welcome.


Miscellaneous:
This is our first day in Sim.
