Notes/Comments:
In the last report I mistakenly said that we had problems with ATV2 when
that should have been ATV3 (the Honda with the foot shifter). We have now
resolved that problem.
As it turns out the tank selector knob was set to "off". We were a bit concerned when we turned it to "on" since there was a steady flow of fuel draining from the bottom of the engine. Fortunately,
it stopped after awhile and the engine started up just fine. It has
been running consistantly since.
Appliances:
We are still having problems with the water heater. We found the fuse
on the water heater and it was fine. Emily tried just turning it off,
then on again and it seemed to work. We had hot water. It ran for
about 30 minutes when I noticed an amber status light on the inverter
and found that the hab batteries were near shut off levels (<20V). We
also found that the current draw was around 18A (normally ~6A).
Shutting off power to the water heater dropped the current draw down to
normal levels and allowed the batteries to start recharging. Also the
propane to the water heater does not seem to be working.
We did find a blown fuse in the DC fusebox and replaced it. Now the
sensor light to the stairs works.
GreenHab:
Greywater pumped into the greenhab until full as usual today.
