Commander's Check-In
Emily Colvin Reporting
Commander's Check-In Report
March 19, 2008
Emily Colvin
Crew Physical Status:
We've had a long day, so everyone's tired. One crew member injured a
knee but I think they're doing pretty good, and another has had a
headache. There seems to be a cold or allergies going around as well.
Time Departed/Returned from EVA:
N/A
Brief Narrative of Field Mission Results:
This morning, 5 of us and Don went out to Skyline Rim to set up the
repeater. We were successful, which is exciting.
EVA Data/Interpretations:
N/A
Hab Maintenance:
Still fighting with the water heater, and more investigation was done
into the non-working ATV. It appears to be a fuel line issue.
Report Transmission Schedule:
Everything is expected to be on time tonight, but probably a little
later in the comm window, because a few are watching the sun set on the
last day out of Sim.
Plans for Tomorrow:
Tomorrow begins our Sim. At most, there will be a pedestrian EVA. We
will begin setting up the wind turbine in Sim and probably start
planning EVA locations for the radiation research and testing the range
of the repeater.
Inventory:
Again, no ink or nametags.
Support Requested:
If someone can continue looking into the ink and nametag issue, that
would be cool. We'll probably also be in contact with the ET regarding
some of the random issues we're trying to fix.
Miscellaneous:
There's been lots of troubleshooting, but we're moving in the right
directions!
