Log Book for March 18, 2008
Commander's Report
Emily Colvin Reporting

It's interesting watching a new crew learn the ways of the Hab. Today
was an introduction to the shakes at Stan's, the Hollow Mountain, and
ATV riding. As always, all was a lot of fun. The crew didn't have much
collective ATV experience, but having been through several ATV
trainings in the past, we went through several areas of the training
grounds and everyone is much more comfortable now. And we seem to have
a few emotional attachments formed between crew members and individual
ATVs...

We should be getting the last bits of things done tomorrow before
entering Sim the next day. We're beginning to ramp up our activity
level a bit, now that we've mostly recovered from the insanity leading
up to our trip out here. Maintaining good sleep habits are definitely a
priority, though, since this is still our spring break. And it's
definitely a needed rest, as school has been abusive as always. I don't
want any crew members involved in ATV accidents or falls down the
stairs for lack of sleep. Besides, falling down stairs has been
traditionally reserved for me. :)
