Commander's Check-In
Emily Colvin Reporting

Commander's Check-In Report
March 17, 2008
Emily Colvin

Crew Physical Status:
We're racing to see who can drink the most liquids, so we're not doing
too bad in the hydration area. There was a groin pull (HSO report will
be forthcoming), but it doesn't seem too serious.

Time Departed/Returned from EVA: N/A

Brief Narrative of Field Mission Results:
There was a walk down to few kilometers south of the Hab. We had the
radios set up and were successful in transmitting position from the
group back to the Hab.

EVA Data/Interpretations: N/A

Hab Maintenance:
TST fill pump is working again (WHOO!). There's apparently a fuse that
blows regularly. And the bubblers are working again!

Report Transmission Schedule:
We should be on time tonight. Elisha has all of the data for the Eng
Rpt, so she'll be getting that done shortly, and I'll get the others to
write their reports before dinner (Dan's making Shepherd's Pie, since
we planned for St. Patty's day before learning it moved).

Plans for Tomorrow:
Over the next two days, we're going to be getting the radio equipment
deployed, the rover put together, the helmets rewired for our radios
(we'll probably also take a look at the backpacks while we're at it),
and the wind turbine constructed.

Inventory:
We still need printer ink. Other than that, I think we're good.
Although I wish I'd remembered my webcam.

Support Requested:
I can't think of anything right now. I'm sure there's something, but
I'll send an email to the mission support list if I think of it.

Miscellaneous:
It's looking like sim will start on Thursday, to allow us time to get
the repeater deployed. We couldn't go out today because of the mud. I
didn't want to be driving anything in it, so we stuck around here.
