Executive Officer in Training Report
March 13, 2008

What do you get when you have one Executive Officer in training stay up the proper time and then woke up early to go on an EVA? The answer is one very tired and slow Executive Officer in Training. I woke up this morning by our Commander to tell me that she had chosen me to go out on an EVA. So part of the day before our St. Patty’s Day party we went out to get some soil samples around the HAB. When we returned I helped cook and clean before we had guests. When our guests arrived we had a feast of Corn Beef and Cabbage. While we ate we all discussed on how we had a fun time here and how our two weeks had gone by already. Two of the children had way too much energy and all of the sudden started a new game on Mars … wresting! It was interesting. During and after that we had a small dancing party, and sadly, our guests left. And then we cleaned.
Everyone’s behavior today was a mixture of excitement and extreme tiredness. No one showed any stress or any anger towards anyone (except when the wresting match started). It was a good day. I’m just going to be really sad when we have to leave and won’t return for a while.
