Today went like yesterday. EVAs were planned but only one batch went
out due to changing weather. I was part of the crew that went out on
EVA and had an interesting time. It was the Commander, Security
Officer, HSO, Assistant HSO and The Executive Officer in Training. We
went to Brahe Highway which connects to Copernicus Highway. You know
about the Gypsum Sea? Well, went up to the Gypsum Lake. It was
beautiful because the sun hit the Gypsum to make it shine. We had an
EVA lunch in a pressurized lava tube that was packed and made by me and
as we ate we noticed that the weather was getting a little shady. So we
made our journey back to the HAB going over high hills and steep
gullies. Following our tracks back home just in time before the rain
started coming. After we all got out of our suits we went into our
Bio-suits and went out to have PEV fun time. We all had a great time
and look forward to our next. It was a little creepy to be honest when
I woke up because I am use to having breakfast then going to school.
But since today was Saturday we didn’t have school and replaced it with
PEV fun time.

With our Executive Officer here we both observed that everyone was a
little sleepy due to the sleep schedule. But besides that we both
noticed everyone was fine and in good spirits today and hope for
another day like this. The weather on the other hand can go. We want a
sunny day. Tomorrow we plan to go back because our EVA was shortened
due to the weather. Also another EVA is planned for Stacy and Eric
going to HAB ridge. So far so good this day is going and so far we are
having a good rotation.
