EVA #3 Report

Time:
Departed at 15:00; Returned at 17:30 hrs

Crew Members:
Commander, HSO, Chief Engineer, Mission Specialist, Executive Officer
in Training, Security Officer

Site Location:
Box Canyon

Transit Mode:
PEV #1, #2, and #3

Objectives:
The objectives of today's EVA was to show our Chief Engineer Box
Canyon. Anyone who has ever been to Mars knows that this should
definitely be the first stop on everyone's EVA "To Do" list. We also
were able to hone in on our PEV training from the past few days.
Everyone faired very well and I am very proud of everyone. Some
sampling was conducted so now everyone has some samples that they can
clean and identify tomorrow in the MDRS Science Laboratory. All
objectives were met except for the sampling of various other regions
as time was running out and we had to head back to the Hab before dark.

Lessons Learned:
Children need children-sized spacesuits. It brings up morale and makes
the EVA more productive and fun.
