Crew Physical Status:
Our backs are sore and we could all use a deep massage but other than
that we're all healthy.

EVA 19:

Brief Narrative of Field Mission Results:
EVA 19: Kerry and Arthur finished digging the holes for his project.

EVA 20: Dug and leveled an area for a concrete pad which will hold the
new battery banks.

EVA 21: Collected 3 samples for extremophile project

EVA 22: Collected 6 samples for extremophile project. Also showed Mary
Roach (visiting journalist) the ins and outs of EVAs.


EVA Data/Interpretations:
EVA 19: Field work finished for geology project.

EVA 20: Battery bank pad area is ready for gravel and then concrete.

EVA 21: Project proceeding well.

EVA 22: Project proceeding well.


Hab Maintenance:
The new battery bank area was cleared, dug and leveled today during EVA
19. The cascading tanks in GreenHab were returned to optimal levels
and the grey water was pumped. In the afternoon we took out our
simulated pressurized rover to Factory Bench for an extreme long range
EVA

Plans for Tomorrow:
Tomorrow we will send out a second EVA in our simulated pressurized
rover to Factory Bench to collect evaporite samples. An afternoon ATV
EVA will collect similar samples from either Candor Chasma or Lith
Canyon.


Inventory:
Food stocks sufficient. Gas & Diesel supply sufficient. Water
sufficient.
