Crew Physical Status:
Tired. We will attempt to get to bed early tonight to be rested for
tomorrow.

Brief Narrative of Field Mission Results:
EVA 05: Located several potential collection sites for Water Quality
and Extremophile projects. Gained valuable experience with ATV
driving.
EVA 06: Assessed route for cable to Radio Ridge for proposed internet
connection upgrade. Partially successful in laying route with white
marker rope but ran out of rope. Also attempted to spot red tower
light to right of Phobos peak but again unsuccessful.
EVA 07: Attempted to reach Mid Ridge Planitia via Brahe Highway (due
to closure of Sagan St.). Ran out of time and had to turn back.
Gained valuable experience with ATV driving.
EVA Data/Interpretations:
EVA 05: N/A
EVA 06: Will need to untangle more white rope from engineering area to
complete route.
EVA 07: N/A
Hab Maintenance:
Today's engineering activities included continued monitoring of power
systems and responses to changes in that system. Three EVAs took up
much of our time during the day.

Plans for Tomorrow:
An EVA in the morning to WSW of the Habitat to perform soil gas
analysis.
An EVA in the afternoon to Candor Chasma to scout collection locations
for extremophile project.
A second, parallel EVA in the afternoon to finish laying a route to the
repeater station on Radio Ridge.
Inventory:
Food supplies are full. Water supplies sufficient. Gasoline
sufficient. Propane good. Chocolate excellent.
Support Requested:
Please advise if Sagan Street is still closed. We took the long way
around today, but if it is safe we would like to use the shorter route
to get to Mid Ridge Planitia.
