Notes/Comments: I do not dare to shut off the generator because we are unsure whether we will be able to start her up again. I had a talk with Don Foutz today about this and he advised to keep the generator running for now. We will look into it more closely on monday. I will ofcourse monitor the generator closely during this prolonged cycle of use.

Kawasaki ATV-3 Used: no
Oil Checked: no
Tire Status: flat right front tyre

Notes/Comments: V'ger is still in SLC. the ATVs need to be worked on extensively. the PLSS and helmets had priority today. we will see what we can do tomorrow.

Miscellaneous Infrastructure:

HVAC: nothing to report

Mars Surface Suits: Stacy Sklar and Grant Waller replaced the PTT on helmet-3 and 5, PLSS-3 needs a new fuse. and PLSS-1 had the fan installed backward, which explains why the air did not get pushed through the hose to the helmet. Grant worked on his own for more than two hours on Helmet-3. Then Stacy started to help him to get the suits and PLSS and helmets ready for the next EVA. Stacy took care of the soldering. we received a very long (= for a tall person) new EVA Suit. we will try it on tomorrow.

Computers/Networking Infrastructure: is working fine

Upgrade Work: the Hab now has 'holders/ hangers' for all the paper towel rolls, in the kitchen, both the laboratories, the EVA prep room and the showerroom. the toiletrol was rigged hanging from the rack in the bathroom. Grant repaired the broken door of the HSO / medicin cabinet. Grant repaired the tea kettle. he replaced the pin to open the lid on the spout with a plastic wiring nut to make opening that lid to pour the hot water easier.
