Log Book for February 28, 2007
Journalist Report
Kathryn Bywaters Reporting

Our two guests left us this evening only to receive another this evening. Unfortunately, one of our crew members had to leave with our guests due to a scheduling conflict. It was a very sad departure and we will all miss her. The day did have an upside, we were able to make it to upheaval dome for a little bit of site seeing. The entire park is completely breathtaking! Absolutely breathtaking! I might just have filled up my entire digital camera just in the short amount of time that we were there. It was also very relaxing to take a little road trip and get out as a crew.

The guest that arrived tonight is Peter who is a wilderness first aid instructor from First Lead. He will be training us for the next three days. The crew is very excited and can’t wait to get started. It is suppose to be very intense course lasting eight hours each day. We should all be much more prepared in case of a medical emergency in the arctic. This makes me feel much better. Peter will be here ready to teach at 8 am so we all need to get to bed early tonight and be mentally prepared for tomorrow, so good night.
