Health & Safety Report
James Harris Reporting

Today was interesting. I believe most of the crew is suffering from mild prolonged dehydration. Classic symptoms were noted in the early afternoon by many crewmembers. The Health Officer checked vitals and the Commander implemented an immediate hydration procedure consisting of water and Gatoraid. Symptoms subsided after a mandated rest period following the hydration procedure. The crew is now making frequent trips to use the proper areas. I'm glad this won't be such a problem in the Arctic.

Other conditions noted this week were minor soreness from firearms training. The response was liberal use of NSAIDs. Yesterday one splinter was removed using splinter forceps and a blister was treated with moleskin. The blister was rechecked today, no infection noted but retreated with triple antibiotic ointment and a band aid this evening. Moleskin will be used before all EVAs.

No issues requiring telemedical support.
