HSO Summary:
There were no major health or safety incidents on Crew 57. Minor health incidents included an eye sty, congestion (due to left-over cat dander), a few minor cuts, and four crew members were sick for several days with cold/flu symptoms.
During our bi-monthly safety inspection we noted that several items were missing from the checklist, and therefore updated the BSIC and submitted it to Mission Support and the Flight Surgeon, for use by future crews.
Finally, it was discovered that there are no Material Safety Data Sheets for any of the fuels or chemicals located in engineering. It is strongly recommended that we obtain these for MDRS.
