Notes/Comments: It was discovered that diesel fuel was mistakenly put into the ATVs. There were three jerry cans together by the generator, which we were told to use up. The yellow diesel can with pink diesel fuel was used in the generator. The two red cans marked gasoline containing clear fuel was used for the ATVs. We were informed that the gasoline jerry cans are also filled with un-dyed diesel fuel. The ATVs were drained of fuel and refilled with gasoline. ATV-1 is now running well and ATV 2 is now no longer outputting white-blue smoke, but still can not accelerate to normal speeds and would not be very useful for an EVA. Three bottles of Heat additive (antifreeze) was added to the ATV gasoline barrel.
Miscellaneous Infrastructure:
HVAC: Nothing further to report.
Mars Surface Suits: MSS-1PLSS-1 used on EVA-12 (WiFi Range Evaluation), Duration: 2.25 hrs. Status: No snags to report. MSS-2PLSS-2 used on EVA-12 (WiFi Range Evaluation), Duration: 2.25 hrs. Status: No snags to report. MSS-3PLSS-6 used on EVA-12 (WiFi Range Evaluation), Duration: 2.25 hrs. Status: No snags to report. MSS-4PLSS-4 used on EVA-12 (WiFi Range Evaluation), Duration: 2.25 hrs. Status: Fluctuations in Ventilation Fan speed encountered approximately 1.5 hrs into EVA, suspect battery is losing efficiency. MSS-5PLSS-5 used on EVA-12 (WiFi Range Evaluation), Duration: 2.25 hrs. Status: No snags to report. MSS-6PLSS-3 used on EVA-12 (WiFi Range Evaluation), Duration: 2.25 hrs. Status: No snags to report.
Computers/Networking Infrastructure: Nothing further to report.
Appliances: Nothing further to report.
Data Logger: Nothing further to report.
Upgrade Work: The converter rack was completed and fixed to the wall. The one converter here at the hab was then mounted on the rack. See WebDAV for photos.
Notes/Comments: The bathroom shelf was installed, completing the bathroom overhaul. See WebDAV for photos. Cleaned the moon filter cover for the telescope, wrapped it in a trash bag to keep dust off of it, and placed it back in the observatory.
