Status: The trickle tank 1 pump quit running. It was the one that was replaced last week with a used one. It was whining and working intermittently though the week. There are two working submersible pumps remaining, both are square instead of cylindrical. Tomorrow I will install one of these and make a new mesh filter bag to fit around it since the current one would not fit.

Appliances: Our crew has been washing the dishes by hand, but we were told that the dishwasher was not cleaning dishes. The dishwasher was run with vinegar for cleaning. A load of dishes was run. The dishes came out clean, however the two gallons of water used in the washer cleaned only about half of the dishes, and the rest were cleaned by hand. Two gallons could have cleaned all of the dishes if they were all washed by hand. It was calculated that the dishwasher required approximately 1400 Kilojoules for the single cycle, where as if the electric water heater was used to just heat the two gallons it would require approximately 200 Kilojoules.
