Commander's Check-In
Lealem Mulugeta Reporting

Crew Physical Status: With the exception of one of the crewmembers, who seems to be catching a cold, everybody is in excellent health condition.

Time Departed for/Returned from EVA: EVA-07: Mellissa and Olathe, 10:20 am - 1:40 pm, Salt Wash.

Brief Narrative of Field Mission Results: Microbial survey, regolith landform mapping.

Plans for Tomorrow: One EVA for microbial survey and regolith landform mapping at Candor Chasma.

Report Transmission Schedule: Engineering Report by 7:00 pm, Journalist Report, EVA report, and Daily Photos by 9:00 pm.

Maintenance: Full repair and maintenance on ATVs 1 and 2 to get them back up and running. Details of the repair and maintenance activities will be discussed in the engineering report.

EVA Narrative/Data/Interpretations: Melissa and Olathe were transported to Salt Wash in a non-pressurized rover (back of Paul's truck) where Olathe sampled large gypsum crystals, and Melissa continued work on Sklar FDM and further sampling for regolith landform mapping.

Food/Essential Supplies Inventory: Low on dish soap defogging spacesuit helmets.

Miscellaneous: None.
