Lealem Mulugeta Reporting
Crew Physical Status: With each passing day the crew is growing closer to eachother like a big family, which is making our stay at MDRS quite enjoyable and productive.
Time Departed for/Returned from: EVA-04: Mellissa, Olathe, and Danielle, 2:51 pm - 5:55 pm, Candor Chasma.
Brief Narrative of Field Mission Results: Microbial survey, regolith landform mapping and field documentation methodology.
Plans for Tomorrow: One EVA for Microbial survey and regolith landform mapping, repairs on ATV-1 and ATV-2, and evening presentation on microbial surveying.

EVA Narrative/Data/Interpretations: Successfully followed Sklar Field Documentation Methodology (FDM) to perform scouting at a zero-zero site, followed immediately by worksite evaluation of halophile/regolith-landform mapping sites in Chandor Chasma. Sampled endolith-bearing sandstone, and suspected halophile-bearing evapourites (calcite + other minerals). Figured out how to coordinate biology and geology research.
