Notes/Comments: Filled TST manually once today. Changed out AT4 float sensor with the spare float GW2CW1000 (two lead float). Replaced the Utility Puppy Pump 2000 on trickle tank 1 by using the motor of the one on the flat bed trailer. The impeller only has 4 of 6 paddles, but pumps ok. A refurbish kit with a new impeller would be useful in the future. Swapped out trickle tank 1 square recirculation pump that I installed yesterday with a cylindrical one so the filter bag would fit over it. Note: I have tested both the new float and utility puppy by hand today, but the level of both tanks are high right now so I have not seen them work naturally yet. I expect the "In to Green Hab" meter reading to increase now that the pump is fixed. No more handling of gray water by hand!!! At least for a little while.
GreenHab:
Crops Watered: yes
Crop Condition: Crop looks amazing - green and tasty! BioFilm treatment applied to trickle tanks.

Kawasaki ATV-2 Used: yes
Oil Checked: yes
Fuel Consumed: 0 gallons = 0 L
Tire Status: good
Kawasaki ATV-3 Used: no
Oil Checked: no
Tire Status: good
Notes/Comments: ATVs were not refilled after use today as they returned just before dusk on a late. Three minutes into the afternoon EVA (EVA 3), ATV-1 started backfiring with black smoke from the exhaust and running rough (choke was fully open), so Crewmember pulled over. When stationary and idling with no additional throttle from the Crewmember, the ATV stalled. Crewmembers discussed options, contacted Engineering to confirm pre-EVA status and that this condition was recently identified on this ATV. During this discussion ATV-2 was idling in neutral. When put in gear and throttled, it did not respond, but continued running. Choke was fully open. Crewmember shut off & attempted to restart ATV, and although engine would idle very slowly, it wouldn't start properly. Grinding sounds were heard when shifting gears on ATV-2. Decision was made by Commander Mulegeta and Field Engineer Shelaga to conduct a Recovery EVA (EVA 3.5). Recovery team proceeded on foot to disabled ATV, and attempted to restart. ATV-2 was restarted, and used to tow the disabled ATV-1 back to the Hab. Both ATVs were run this morning, with ATV-1 idling slow and open choke required. Request troubleshooting assistance.
Miscellaneous Infrastructure:
HVAC: Nothing further to report.
Mars Surface Suits: Helmet 2 and 5 are all having trouble with the transmit switch, will diagnose tomorrow. Helmet 6 is suspected to have troubles as well.
Computers/Networking Infrastructure: Nothing further to report.
Appliances: Nothing further to report.
Data Logger: Nothing further to report.
Upgrade Work: Hoping to finish maintenance work soon so I can start on upgrades...
Notes/Comments: It has been warm for several days now. I will try to pump from the water tank in engineering as opposed to the one on the flat bed soon. Sorry for the lateness of the report. The EVA teams were writing up the problems with the ATVs.
