Discussion/Next Step: Discussion of sampling strategies for the continuation of the microbial survey. Discussed focusing on halophiles as an organism likely to be found on Mars. If we sample areas with plants or standing water this may be less applicable to a search for life on Mars. Also discussed how the project could be linked to FMARS research. Tomorrow we are planning two surveying EVAs to take pan photos as per FDM. We intend to visit halophile sample locations from previous crews.
