Journalist Report
Danielle Cormier Reporting

Today marked crew 57's first full day at the Hab. We woke up this morning to a very full Hab, since crews 56 and 57 had both spent the night there, driving the occupancy of the Hab to a total of 13 people. After a quick breakfast, we proceeded to the crew-to-crew handover briefings, with the high point definitely being the awesome ATV refueling station that they built. Then we took a few final pictures and waved crew 56 goodbye, with our crew 57 crewmember Olathe leaving with them. She very graciously agreed to go back to Salt Lake City with crew 56 and then drive our minivan, V'ger, back to the Hab.

The rest of the crew spent the day moving in and cleaning up. Then after a planning meeting to discuss the conduct of our rotation, Paul came out to give us our ATV training course. All crewmembers passed the final tests with flying colors. The plans for tonight include going to bed early, as most crewmembers are tired from their travels and want to be well rested in order to start accomplishing our mission objectives tomorrow.
