Journalist Report
John Thaler & B. Liz Gauthier Reporting

This morning Adrienne and Anna setup their new project to determine the effect of UV radiation on microbiotic flora found on the spacesuits. They have swabbed 20 samples from the suits and then irradiated the spots with UV radiation. Then they swabbed them again to get before and after cultures. The best part of watching the experiment was seeing them be sexy in their safety glasses.

In addition this morning Brogan and Seth have continued developing their plans to create a fueling station for the ATVs. The initial location of the project has changed due to considerations of buried wires and pipes running from the engineering area towards the Hab.

This afternoon the crew took a pressurized rover to Salt Wash and Coal Mine Wash. This EVA included exploring the surrounding areas without any monkey business at all. Well perhaps there was a little. Liz also revealed her excellent ability to act as a scale in photos of natural phenomena. The only complaint by the intrepid explorers was that it was very cold. However in all other respects they were tough as nails.
