EVA Report
John Thaler Reporting

EVA-16:

Time: 1330-1700
Site Location: Salt Bush (UTM 12 s 0506420 426119) and Coal Mine Wash (UTM 12 S 507543 4258389)
Crew: Ryan, John, Liz, Cassie, Adrienne, Seth

Objective: To visit a distant evaporite location using a simulated pressurized vehicle and collect samples if appropriate.

Tasks Performed: Evaporite sites were visited but deemed unnecessary for sampling. Crew morale was boosted by a short period of monkey business.

Lessons Learned: Simulating a pressurized vehicle with a truck can be quite cold for the crew members riding in the back unprotected from the wind. Liz is quite proficient as a scale in photos of geological or biological samples.
