Crew Physical Status: Most of the crew training has been completed and today was a more relaxed schedule. The morning EVA kicked off the day while the others worked on hab repairs and finishing personal documents. The afternoon included group activities including ATV repairs and scientific lessons in the laboratory. Tonight the crew is looking forward to some Poker and relaxtion.

Time Departed for/Returned from EVA: EVA-09: Liz, Cassandra, and Anna, 10:10am - 12:33pm to Candor Chasma.

Brief Narrative of Field Mission Results: EVA-09 was a in-field geology lesson by Cassandra, which focused on studying and sampling Candor Chasma gypsum deposits and their corresponding brine environments.

Plans for Tomorrow: Tomorrow morning will be a late start to allow to crew to properly rest for week 2. The morning will also include "Part Deux" of the laboratory Geology and Biology lessons. An afternoon EVA is planned for biological sampling and maintenance will continue. The lecture series will continue in the evening.

Report Transmission Schedule: Engineering Report and by 7:00, EVA Report, Journalist Report, Human Factors Report, and Daily Photos by 9:00 pm.

Maintenance: The lab sink was connected partially so it can still be used. New plants were planted in GreenHab. ATV-3 was disassembled to fix the manifold as best as possible with proper sealants. It will be tested tomorrow after the adhesive has settled. The toilet flush water motor from the GreenHab aquatic Tank-4 was also fixed.

Food/Essential Supplies Inventory: Low on flavored crystals for drinks (plenty of ice tea crystals). New sponges are need in the kitchen. Faucet parts - pending.

Miscellaneous: We were given an introduction laboratory lesson from Adrienne on plating biological samples from swabbing hab locations. We also received an introduction geological lesson from Cassandra on identifying the minerals gypsum and calcite, and the rock chert.

Support Requested: ATV-3 will require a proper inspection and potential replacement manifold.
