Commander's Check-In
Ryan Kobrick Reporting

Crew Physical Status: One crewmember has a cold, but everyone is definitely in the MDRS groove and thoroughly enjoyed their first ATV EVAs.

Time Departed for/Returned from EVAs: EVA-07: Ryan, Cassandra, and Adrienne, 9:52am - 12:49pm to Candor Chasma. EVA-08: John, Seth, and Brogan 2:45pm - 4:40pm to Tank Wash.

Brief Narrative of Field Mission Results: EVA-07 was focused on studying and sampling Candor Chasma gypsum deposits and their corresponding brine environments. EVA-08 was a reconnaissance mission to Tank Wash to find sites of scientific interest.

Plans for Tomorrow: Continued EVAs and maintenance. The lecture series will continue in the evening.

Report Transmission Schedule: Engineering Report and EVA Report by 7:00, Geology Report, Biology Report, Journalist Report, and Daily Photos by 9:00 pm.

Maintenance: Generator battery terminal line repair. Green Hab grey water return fixed (fuse blown) and filters changed. Lab sink faucet moved to upstairs to mitigate leak. New plants were planted in Green Hab.

EVA Narrative/Data/Interpretations: see EVA Report.

Food/Essential Supplies Inventory: Low on flavored crystals for drinks (plenty of ice tea crystals). New sponges are need in the kitchen. New faucet needed for lab.

Miscellaneous: none.

Support Requested: ATV-3 requires welding to stop the oil leaks. Observatory manuals and material for usage certification.
