Ryan Kobrick Reporting

Crew Physical Status: With a brief comedy kick of short videos in the morning the crew was ready for their Sklar FDM training. With the weather warming up the crew is learning how to properly hydrate in the morning.

Time Departed for/Returned from EVA: EVA-04: Adrienne, Anna, Brogan, Cassandra, Liz, Seth in sim (ExGamma crew) & John and Ryan (ExGamma instructors) out of sim, 11:36am – 1:46pm.

Brief Narrative of Field Mission Results: EVA-04: This was a training EVA lead by the instructors (Ryan and John) approximately 1km West. The mission was to teach the crew how to take systematic panoramic images and identify potentially useful scientific sites (i.e., outcrops or stream beds) using a protocol named Sklar FDM. Work continued in the habitat afterwards with data reduction and report writing.

Plans for Tomorrow: Crew Sklar FDM missions to selected locations. Complete ATV training. The lecture series will continue in the evening.

Report Transmission Schedule: Engineering Report by 7:00, Sklar FDM EVA Group Report, Journalistic Report (pending), and Daily Photos by 9:00 pm.

Maintenance: none.

Food/Essential Supplies Inventory: Low on flavored crystals for drinks (plenty of ice tea crystals).
