Commander's Check-In
Ryan Kobrick Reporting

Crew Physical Status: Everyone is extremely excited to finally be at MDRS after 4 months of planning. Today's crew handover went very smoothly. One crewmember had an allergic reaction (tongue swelling) during our practice EVA, potentially from Pixel O'Neil, the Hab-cat.

Time Departed for/Returned from EVA: EVA-00: Adrienne, Anna, Brogan, Cassandra, Liz, Seth in sim (ExGamma crew) & John and Ryan (ExGamma instructors) out of sim, 2:30pm – 3:55pm.

Brief Narrative of Field Mission Results: EVA-00: spacesuit donning/doffing, communications testing, Mobility testing during walk to hab ridge.

Plans for Tomorrow: In the morning we will conduct Geology and Biology introductions in the field (Dakota sandstone outcrop just off of highway 24, at mile marker 111). In the afternoon we plan to conduct EVA-1 at a Halophile location. At night, after report writing, we will also have a cross-training presentation.

Report Transmission Schedule: Engineering Report, EVA Report, Journalist Report by 7:00, HSO Report, Daily Photos, Entrance Photos, by 9:00 pm.

Maintenance: none.

EVA Narrative/Data/Interpretations: see EVA-00 report.

Food/Essential Supplies Inventory: Supplies are good.

Miscellaneous: none.

Support Requested: nope, we are 'eh'-o.k!

Ryan L. Kobrick
