Weather: low 10.6c (51.1F) high of 24.0c (75.2), dry with late afternoon high clouds

Crew Physical Status: Fine.

Brief Narrative of Field Mission Results: The crew and support team took a much-needed day off.

Plans for Tomorrow: Complete planning Lith Canyon EVAs, including waypoints and activity model. Set up Lith farpoint repeater and determine best locations for ATV relays. Test GPS satellite coverage and wireless communications throughout the canyon.

Report Transmission Schedule: None today.

Maintenance: Replaced 5 micron filter (left canister) for second time; this solved the flow problems.

EVA Narrative/Data/Interpretations: NA

Inventory: Frank Schubert replenished our food supplies, plus bought a great bread knife and garlic press.

Miscellaneous: Walking in the utter silence of White Canyon's layered cliffs, our lives and efforts seem as brief as the flowers along the path.
