Commander's Check-In
Gus Frederick Reporting
Crew Status: Crew remains in good spirits.
Daily Recap: Our planned extended EVA to Factory Bench was once again postponed, this time due to weather. We awoke to heavy rains, so the departure was delayed. Then Don and the AmeriGas crew arrived with the new LP Gas tank for Crew 29. Don also brought along the LP Gas generator. Once setup, a test firing of this system was unsuccessful due to a faulty starter motor. Of course during this testing period our power was off, so we were late filing the reports from the previous day. Rains continued intermittently throughout the day, and we found ourselves confined to the Hab for the most part.
Tomorrow's Plan: Rumors of parts for the ATV have gotten our hopes up for our EVA tomorrow, but these hopes have been dashed before. So we shall await the dawning of the day, to see what it has in store for us. Crew 29 personnel are rumored to start trickling in, so we may have visitors.
Daily Reports: The following reports should be in soon.
- Commander's Check In (this report) -- Gus Frederick
- Journalist Report -- Steve Featherstone
- GreenHab Report -- Kathleen Johnson
- Engineering Report -- G. Drayer & A. Rzeszutko
