Log Book for February 27, 2004
Commander's Check-In
Digby Tarvin Reporting

Crew Physical Status: One crew member remains on light duties, the remainder fit and healthy and all in good spirits.

Brief Narrative of Mission Results: Today we were confined to the hab by rain and brief periods of snow. We used the time to work on our summary reports and to prepare handover documentation to assist with handling the late arrival of crew 25.

Plans for Tomorrow: As tomorrow will mark the end of our rotation and our first day out of sim, and crew 25 is not expected till the late evening, I have promised my crew time off for a visit to Goblin Valley if all of our reporting duties and handover preparations are completed in a timely manner.

Report schedule: The reports that are going to be sent this evening will be
  1. This check-in report.
  2. Commander's Report.
  3. Greenhab Report.
  4. Engineering Report.
The reports will be submitted by 20:00 this evening.

Inventory: No change.

Support Requested: The ink cartridge previously requested for the printer (Lexmark Z23) would be very useful in enabling us to provide printed documentation for the new crew. We are now down to about 10 gallons of fuel for the ATVs and backup generator, and need more oil for the ATVs.
