Journalist Report
Kyoichi Sasazawa Reporting

MDRS, UT. Feb. 18 -- Crew 24 started full-scale EVA. All 6 members did EVA. In particular, Diego participated in a real EVA for the first time. We went toward the target waypoint using GPS units and terrain maps. We found a few footprints near waypoints. The main trackmakers of the footprints near waypoint 107, according to crew 24 member Louise, are Rodentia, Artiodactyla, with the exceptionally few cases of Avian prints. We often find footprints around here. We will continue to check for evidence of life around the MDRS site. Additionally we found a droppings of a large Artiodactyla or other herbivorous mammal several dozen meters west of 107.

We enjoyed a cheerful and energetic dinner. Tonight's main dish was curry with steamed rice and a Japanese dish "Hiya yakko" (means cold tofu) with wasabi. Oh curry-rice, I remember my birthday in boyhood. Most Japanese kids like curry-rice and hamburger. Birthday curry was something special for me.
