General Engineering Report
Joan Roch & Simone Kosol Reporting

Generator/Electricity: Generator ran without problem today.

North tank: 7 (not in use)
South tank: 80 (in use)

21:20 Check:
Run time: 3499.5 hrs
Oil added: 1.5 quarts (after 12 hours)
North tank: 7 (not in use)
South tank: 79 (in use)
Computers / Networking: the desktop computer 'HabCom' was dead today, because the power supply fried when we restarted the generator. The network and the Internet connection were down all day, until the IBM ThinkPad laptop could be connected at the end of the day to call for help. Don Foutz came to the rescue from Hanksville with a new power supply and restored our communication capabilities. Apparently, a similar incident occured just a few months ago and a motherboard was fried. Don Foutz advises us to install some UPS to prevent some new problems.

Water: internal tank refilled at 21:00 from 5 to 55 Gal.
